About
The Lazy Broad’s Guide to Life is a how-to guide for girls who were not touched by the archangels of domesticity or discipline. It is not for girls who ran out and bought a hardcover copy of Martha Stewart’s Homekeeping as soon as it hit the shelves. It is not for girls who tell you how easy it is to follow the South Beach Diet and email you the instructions from their Blackberry. It is not for girls who write everything down in a pretty Kate Spade leather-bound planner while simultaneously getting a well-deserved promotion.
It’s for girls who like to have a good time, and who recognize the idea of laundry, but only in an abstract way. The Lazy Broad likes to eat but doesn’t necessarily know how the stove works; likes to entertain but doesn’t own a mop. She knows how to spend money, but is a little less eager about using all of her time to earn it. She likes to look pulled together and fashion savvy, but she doesn’t have unlimited funds, and because she sleeps until the last possible moment her morning beauty regiment consists of splashing cold water on her face and trying to find her keys.
